Making a Difference
Since moving to Hingham in 2005, Liz has been an active participant and leader in the community. Her town experience includes service on the Hingham Master Plan Committee (Board of Selectmen Appointee), Hingham Downtown Association (Executive Director), Hingham’s 375th Anniversary Committee, the Hingham Women’s Club (President, Treasurer), South School PTO (Secretary, Fundraising Chair), School Council, Hingham Newcomers Club Board (Social Chair), and the Hingham Education Foundation (Communications Director). Other volunteer experience encompasses work with organizations such as South Shore Conservatory, Hingham Food Pantry, Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore, South Shore Stars, Hingham Youth Soccer, and Cradles to Crayons. Liz Klein is proud to support and push for change throughout the community. Liz Klein is truly passionate about this issue, as it is the single biggest issue facing our town. Balancing revenue sources with the increasing cost and demands of services that our citizens need and deserve is key. Liz Klein aims to review Hingham's financial policy, work with local leaders and citizens to understand priorities, and will keep pushing until the correct balance is reached.
